LEKI Trail Shark is a pair of original grips to replace worn or damaged grips on compatible LEKI trail running poles. The grips are available for pole tubes with a diameter of 14 or 16 millimeters and feature LEKI's integrated Shark system for quick attachment of compatible hand straps and trail gloves.
The lightweight construction with air channels is developed specifically for trail running. When the hand is connected to the handle, the force is transferred directly to the center of the pole, providing efficient pole work during steep climbs and long runs.
Trail Shark is LEKI's grip and strap system developed specifically for trail running. A compatible Shark strap or trail glove has a small loop that clicks directly into the handle mount.
The system allows you to engage your hand without having to look at the handle. When you need to free your hand, press the release button on top of the grip and disengage the strap.
Release button: Makes it quick to detach your hand from the wand.
Open connection bracket: Facilitates quick connection without having to look.
Air channels: Reduces material consumption and provides a lightweight construction.
Support surface: Provides the opportunity for an alternative grip position when the terrain changes.
Direct power transfer: The Shark strap connects directly to the handle and helps transfer power through the center of the pole.
By replacing worn handles, you can continue to use pole tubes and other components that are still in good condition. The LEKI Trail Shark is therefore suitable both as a spare part for repairs and as a replacement when you want to restore the grip of the poles and their connection to the Shark system.
The grips are Neon Yellow–Cork Optic and are sold in pairs. Compatible Shark straps, gloves and poles are not included.

The LEKI Trail Shark is available in two versions:
14 mm: For compatible LEKI poles with a 14 mm diameter at the handle attachment.
16 mm: For compatible LEKI poles with a 16 mm diameter at the handle attachment.
Check the pole model and diameter before ordering. The diameter should refer to the pole tube where the handle is mounted. If you are unsure, compatibility should be confirmed by a LEKI dealer or authorized service workshop.
The handles are spare parts that must be assembled correctly in order for the pole to be safe to use. LEKI states that modification and assembly outside of approved instructions can affect both safety and warranty. Therefore, have an authorized LEKI dealer or service partner perform the replacement if you do not have the correct assembly instructions and equipment.
Always check poles, handles and locking systems before use. Do not use a pole with a loose handle, damaged connection or other defective components.
