The Icehero 2 is the smoother and even more responsive winter running shoe in VJ's catalog and is aimed at those who want to take their winter runs to the next level, but it is also suitable for more casual runners.

The IceHero 2 is VJ's first winter running shoe to feature their new SuperFOAMance midsole, which is made of high-tech and ultra-light nitrogen-infused material that offers extreme cushioning and energy return. This new foam is a modern, supercritical foam that is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable and more propulsive than traditional EVA foam. Compared to other foams, SuperFOAMance is more durable and does not wear out as easily.

The midsole is completed with a stone plate that protects the runner's feet from sharp edges and protruding branches. The stone plate also makes the shoe more torsionally stiff and increases energy efficiency.

The Superior Contact outsole features 17 carbon steel star studs for superior traction on slippery conditions.

The water-repellent upper is lightweight, breathable and durable in one piece. The last is shaped like a foot, which together with the upper provides maximum comfort and performance.

If you are familiar with VJ's trail running shoes, the IceHero 2 is basically the MAXx2, but with studs!
