The OMM Squeeze Cordlocs are compact replacement cord locks for a single cord on OMM backpacks, clothing and other equipment. They can be used to replace a broken cord lock or to customize drawstrings and compression systems to your own needs.
The package contains two cable locks that are assembled without tools. Their low weight and small size make them easy to carry in your repair kit during ultra races, hiking, fastpacking and longer mountain trips.
Squeeze Cordlocs are designed for a single cord. The cord is threaded through the cord lock openings and is secured when the locking mechanism is released. The design is suitable for single adjustment cords on backpacks, jackets, pants and compression systems, for example.
If two cords or both ends of a drawstring need to be locked together, standard OMM Cordlocks are a more suitable option.
The cable locks are designed for quick assembly without special tools, making it possible to replace a damaged part at home or carry out a temporary repair in the field.
Follow the existing cable routing when replacing an old cable lock. After installation, check that the mechanism grips the cable properly and that the adjustment does not slip under load.
Squeeze Cordlocs are compatible with OMM cords and designed for the brand's clothing, backpacks and accessories. They can also fit many products from other manufacturers with similar cord thickness and construction.
The rope locks are intended for use with drawcords and light compression functions only. They must not be used for climbing, personal protection, or other safety-critical and load-bearing equipment.
