The Exped Terra -18C 0F LW is a warm down sleeping bag for winter camping, mountain hiking and overnight stays in the cold. The longer and wider LW model provides extra space and is suitable for people up to 195 cm tall. This version has the zipper on the left side.

RDS-certified duck down with 650+ fill power is combined with a thermal collar, insulation along the zip and a shaped foot box. The comfort temperature is −10°C and the limit temperature is −17°C.

Down insulation for cold nights

The Terra LW contains 1,444 grams of duck down, creating an insulating layer around the body. The thermal collar helps trap warm air, while the insulating channel along the zipper reduces heat loss when opening.

The three-dimensional foot box has eleven individually filled down chambers. The construction provides space for the feet and distributes the insulation around the foot area.

Spacious LW model with left-side zipper

LW stands for Long Wide and is suitable for those who need both extra length and more room to move. The sleeping bag is 220 cm long and has an internal circumference of 173 cm at the shoulders and 107 cm at the feet.

The zipper has a guard that reduces the risk of fabric getting caught. An interior pocket keeps smaller belongings close at hand during the night.

Temperature and use

The sleeping bag has a comfort temperature of −10 °C and a limit temperature of −17 °C . When choosing a sleeping bag, consider the comfort temperature, especially if you get cold easily. Combine it with a well-insulating sleeping pad and choose with a margin for the expected temperatures of the trip.

Care and storage

Air the sleeping bag after use and let it dry completely before storing. Store it loosely in the included mesh bag so that the down retains its volume. Use the compression bag during transport.

Clean minor stains with a damp sponge. If washing is necessary, follow the sleeping bag's care instructions and use a detergent designed for down. Make sure the filling is completely dry afterwards.
