The Exped Flex Sit Pad is an extremely lightweight, durable and versatile foam seat pad , perfect for hiking, mountaineering, skiing, canoeing and camping . It provides effective insulation against cold, moisture and hard surfaces , making breaks significantly more comfortable whether you are sitting on snow, wet grass, rocks or a park bench.

The seat pad is made of closed-cell IXPE foam , making it puncture-proof, water-resistant and very durable . The three-piece, foldable design means that the Flex Sit Pad unfolds quickly and takes up very little space when folded - it easily fits into the side pockets of backpacks, bike bags or ski backpacks .

Despite its light weight, the Exped Flex Sit Pad provides surprisingly good comfort and insulation , with an R-value of around 1.5–1.7 , making it ideal as an always-on underlay . It also works great as a pad in a kayak, canoe or lighter camping chair , and as protection for equipment from cold and wet ground.
