Exped Flex 3R M is an extra thick, extremely durable and highly reliable foam sleeping pad , developed for colder nights, tough conditions and 3-season use . The medium size offers full body length and classic width , making it a safe choice for those who want maximum reliability without going up to LW format.

At a whopping 3.1 cm thick, Flex 3R is the thickest foam sleeping pad in EXPED's range . It is made of closed-cell IXPE foam , which makes it puncture-proof, water-resistant and very dimensionally stable . With an R-value of 2.8 (ASTM F3340-18) , the pad provides reliable insulation for three seasons , even on cold and hard ground.

The accordion-folded design makes the sleeping pad quick to use and easy to pack, either inside a backpack or attached to the outside. Flex 3R M can be used independently , but is also a very popular choice as a protective and insulating layer under an inflatable sleeping pad , where it both increases warmth and protects against punctures.
