Exped Flex 1.5R LW is a lightweight, extremely durable and generously sized foam sleeping pad , developed for trekking, backpacking, bikepacking and camping in warmer conditions . The LW (Long Wide) version provides extra length and width , which is perceived as significantly more comfortable for larger people or for those who want more room to move during the night.

The sleeping pad is made of closed-cell IXPE foam , making it puncture-proof, water-repellent and very durable . With an R-value of 1.7 (ASTM standard), the Flex 1.5R LW offers reliable basic insulation for summer use and lighter 3-season trips, while also providing effective protection against sharp surfaces and ground cold.

The accordion-folded design makes the sleeping pad quick to unfold and easy to pack, either inside your backpack or attached to the outside. It works great as a stand-alone sleeping pad in warm weather , but is also very popular as an extra layer of protection and insulation under an inflatable sleeping pad for added durability and comfort.
