The Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag M is a durable and versatile pump bag developed to provide fast and completely moisture-free inflation of Exped sleeping pads. Unlike blowing with your mouth, the pump bag prevents moisture and condensation from entering the sleeping pad's insulation - something that is crucial for both warmth, longevity and hygiene , especially in cold or damp weather.

Size M provides an effective volume that is enough to inflate most sleeping pads in just a few pumps , while the bag remains flexible and easy to pack.

Also functions as a packing and compression bag

The Schnozzel Pumpbag M is more than just a pump. Thanks to its waterproof construction and roll closure, it can also be used as:

packing bag for clothes or sleeping bag

compression bag to reduce packing volume

temporary backpack liner in rainy conditions

This means that in practice it adds almost no extra weight to the pack, as it fulfills several functions at the same time.

Robust and compatible

The standard version of the Schnozzel Pumpbag (non-UL) is made of durable recycled fabric , designed for frequent use and tougher handling than the ultralight version. It is directly compatible with Exped valves and, with the right adapter, can also be used to inflate sleeping pads and inflatable products from other manufacturers.

Easy to use

You quickly fill the bag with air, seal the opening and roll it towards the valve so that the air is pressed into the sleeping pad – without effort and without getting dizzy . The method is significantly faster than blowing by mouth or built-in mini pumps.
