Exped FlexMat PLUS XS is Exped's thickest and most comfortable foam sleeping pad , developed for those who want more warmth and better sleeping comfort than traditional foam sleeping pads offer - without compromising on simplicity and reliability. The XS size is ideal for lightweight trips, minimalist sets or as a reinforcement in a sleeping system .

Thanks to its 3.8 cm thickness and high insulation capacity, FlexMat PLUS can be used independently even in colder conditions , or as a highly effective protective and heat-increasing layer under an inflatable sleeping pad .

Extra thick construction for better sleep

FlexMat PLUS differs from the standard FlexMat by being twice as thick , which makes a noticeable difference in comfort – especially for the hips and shoulders. The profiled surface in closed-cell IXPE foam creates air pockets that both improve insulation and even out uneven surfaces. At the same time, the surface is completely insensitive to punctures, moisture and dirt.
