Exped FlexMat LW is a lightweight, durable and versatile closed-cell foam sleeping mat , developed for outdoor enthusiasts who want extra length and width without compromising on simplicity and reliability . The clever accordion-fold design makes the mat quick to unfold, easy to pack and insensitive to rough handling in the field.

The long-wide format ( 197 × 65 cm ) provides plenty of space even for taller or wider users and is particularly appreciated for summer trips, canoe and bike camping, and as a protective layer under inflatable sleeping pads .

Simple design – reliable function

FlexMat LW is made from closed-cell IXPE foam , which means it doesn't absorb moisture, can't be punctured and is always ready to use. The profiled surface provides better comfort than completely flat foam mats , while the air pockets in the structure contribute to insulation and reduce condensation on the sleeping bag.

Versatile application

In addition to functioning as a sleeping pad, FlexMat LW can be used to advantage as:

protective and insulating underlay under an inflatable sleeping pad

sitting or resting surface during breaks

extra ground protection on cold, damp or uneven terrain

backup solution if an air cushion breaks down

The foldable design makes it easy to carry outside your backpack or quickly access during breaks.
