InWild Powder Casing Kit

InWild Powder Casing Kit – reduces snow and ice in the Meidjo binding

The InWild Powder Casing Kit is a smart accessory for Meidjo telemark bindings , designed to reduce snow and ice buildup in the binding when skiing in powder, wet snow and variable winter conditions. By closing the recessed area in the spring box, the risk of snow accumulation is reduced and the binding has a cleaner, more reliable function .

Cleaner binding – better function

The powder coat eliminates the rod system under the spring box and creates an optimized mounting height , which contributes to:

less snow and ice buildup

smoother operation in cold conditions

easier handling during the tour

Adapted for piste, top touring and uphill skiing

Piste skiing: can be used alone

Uphill/touring: must be used with low riser

therefore, Powder Casing Kit including low riser is offered

Touring mode requires the use of low risers.

Compatibility & Important Notes

Only compatible with spring box with flat step-in

Low riser works for ski boot sizes from 24.5

Meidjo's crampons are fully compatible with the Powder Casing Kit

NOTE: Installing the powder coat requires removing the connecting rod and touring plate + touring lock .

🔧 SCARPA TX PRO 2024–2025: The new model has a shorter sole than before. It is therefore advisable to adjust the placement of the Meidjo heel set when installing.
