the OMM Core+ Hoodie – Active insulation for colder conditions

The OMM Core+ Hoodie is an advanced and warmer option in OMM's groundbreaking Core series of active insulation. The garment is made entirely of PrimaLoft® ACTIVE 125 g/m² , an ultra-lightweight insulating material that combines the warmth of a traditional fleece with less than half the weight - and superior moisture transport.

PrimaLoft® ACTIVE is made from synthetic insulation fibers woven through an open, knitted mesh. This construction provides exceptional air permeability , allowing excess heat to be quickly vented away during high activity. The result is a garment that can be worn continuously – from the starting line to the summit – where you can easily regulate your temperature by opening or removing the outer layer, rather than changing insulation layers.

The Core+ Hoodie uses the mid-weight 125 g/m² version of PrimaLoft® ACTIVE, making it warmer and more robust than the Core Hoodie (75 g/m²). This makes the Core+ a great choice for colder weather, longer breaks, slow-paced activity or more everyday use – without compromising on light weight and packability.

The garment insulates effectively both wet and dry , and transports moisture away very quickly, which reduces the risk of getting chilled after hard exertion. The soft hood and strategically placed flatlock seams provide high comfort even under a backpack.
