Biosourced Dyneema

Biosourced Dyneema® is a more sustainable version of conventional Dyneema®, made from renewable raw materials, mainly forest industry residues, rather than fossil resources.

This material is based on a production process in which ethylene, the key ingredient in Dyneema®, is obtained from plant biomass instead of petroleum. This approach significantly reduces the carbon footprint while maintaining the outstanding performance of conventional Dyneema®: extreme tensile strength, lightness, waterproofness and durability.

ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) certified, biosourced Dyneema® is part of a circular economy and reduces CO₂ emissions, offering a more responsible alternative without compromising on performance.

Dyneema Composite Fabric Hybrid (DCF H)

Samaya chose Dyneema® Composite Fabric Hybrid for its unique combination of 2 materials. On the outside, Woven Polyester provides greater abrasion resistance than standard Dyneema® Composite Fabric. On the inside, Dyneema® Composite Fabric guarantees waterproofness and mechanical strength. Last but not least, the stiffness of this material ensures a better fit and ease of use, no matter how full the backpack is.

Samaya has developed Dyneema® Woven Fabric from Dyneema® 300D yarn, which has been woven to form a material that is durably resistant to all stresses associated with use (abrasion, tearing, punching).
