Spray-On Textile Waterproofing is a textile impregnation as a spray for all types of clothing and equipment. The impregnation recreates the fabric's water and dirt resistance, and extends the fabric's lifespan by protecting the fibers. The material's vapor permeability, color and structure are maintained as the impregnation does not form a film on the surface but binds to the textile fibres.

The product is bio-based, easily biodegradable and PFAS-free. Eco-labelled with OEKO-TEX and USDA Certified Biobased Product.

Approach

1) Wash and rinse the garment without fabric softener. It is recommended to use a detergent suitable for functional garments, for example OrganoTex BioCare Sport Textile Wash. Let dry.

2) Place the dry garment on a protected work surface. Spray from 20 cm, make sure the textile gets evenly wet. Repeat after 1 minute where dry areas are visible.

3) Remove all excess liquid by rubbing with a dry cloth or sponge, leaving no traces.

4) For best results, dry in a tumble dryer or drying cabinet, if the garment's instructions allow it.

If the garment is air-dried, white drying spots may occur. These can be easily removed by heating with a hair dryer or iron on low heat. Heat causes the product to be absorbed into the fabric.
