HydraPak 42 mm Filter Cap – filter water directly from the bottle

The HydraPak 42mm Filter Cap turns your HydraPak bottles and hydration reservoirs into a complete, ultra-lightweight water filtration system . The filter screws directly onto all HydraPak products with a 42mm thread , such as Seeker Water Storage Bags, Flux bottles, UltraFlasks and SkyFlask hand flasks .

With this filter, you can either drink directly from the bottle or push filtered drinking water into other bottles and containers. This makes the filter extremely flexible – just as useful on a run in the mountains as around camp on a hike.

The filter uses hollow fiber technology and effectively removes 99.999% of common waterborne bacteria (including E. coli) and 99.9999% of parasitic cysts , according to HSF 42 standard. The flow is fast and efficient, at over 1 liter per minute , and the filter is capable of purifying up to approximately 1,500 liters of fresh water .

Weighing just 57 grams, the HydraPak 42mm Filter Cap is one of the lightest filters on the market , and because it mounts directly to the bottle, it takes up no extra space in your pack . The protective cap also keeps dirt and dust out of the mouthpiece and can be opened/closed with one hand , even when you're on the move.

Avoid freezing the filter.
Freezing can permanently damage the hollow fiber membrane. In freezing temperatures, it is recommended that you store the filter close to your body , e.g. in a pocket or inside your jacket.
