Hilleberg Tent Line 3 mm is a very strong, durable and lightweight stay line , designed for maximum reliability in all weather conditions. The line is used as standard on Hilleberg's Black, Red and Blue Label tents and is designed to withstand high loads with almost no elasticity , providing stable anchoring even in strong winds.
The line is constructed with Hilleberg’s unique “inter-wrap” construction , where super strong Vectran yarn is woven together with polyester . The construction eliminates the need for a weaker outer sheath, minimizes the risk of wear and tear, and provides minimal water absorption , high UV resistance , and a soft, supple feel that makes the line easy to handle even with cold hands.
With its red and white color, the tent rope is easy to see in the terrain, which reduces the risk of tripping around the tent in the dark. The low weight and high strength make the rope equally suitable as an extra stay rope for tents , as for tarp setup, wind protection or for general outdoor use.
