Exped Reflective Dyneema Tent Cord is an ultra-light, extremely strong and completely static tent cord , developed for demanding use in mountain, alpine environments and exposed locations. The core consists of Dyneema® – a high-tech fiber that is approximately 15 times stronger than steel in relation to its weight , making the cord ideal as a tent and storm cord where stability is crucial.

Stable and stretch-free in harsh weather

Unlike traditional ropes, Reflective Dyneema Tent Cord is completely non-stretching (static) . This minimizes the risk of:

tent cloth fluttering in the wind

tent pegs pulled out of the ground

tent pole overload

At the same time, the rope is flexible enough to tie and adjust easily , even with gloves.

Visible in the dark – increased safety

To reduce the risk of tripping in the dark or in poor visibility, the rope is equipped with woven reflective threads , which reflect light from a headlamp or lantern. This provides clear visibility around the tent at night , without compromising on light weight or strength.

Durable and weather-resistant

The Dyneema material has very high resistance to abrasion, moisture, UV radiation and chemicals , making the tent line very durable even after prolonged exposure in demanding environments. The product is made in Germany , which guarantees high quality and precision.
