The Exped Snow + Sand Tent Anchor is a lightweight, packable and highly effective tent anchor , designed to provide secure anchoring in snow, sand, loose soil and other problematic ground where regular tent pegs will not work. It is an excellent complement to tents and tarps for winter trips, beach camping and desert or mountain environments with soft ground.

The use is simple: fill the anchor with snow, sand, gravel or rocks and bury it, where the anchorage is then loaded horizontally via the tent rope. Once buried, the anchor creates a very stable attachment even in the most volatile surfaces.

The anchors are made of robust taffeta nylon , which provides high durability in relation to low weight . The material also makes them extremely compressible , so they take up minimal space in the pack when not in use.

The product comes in a 5-pack , which is enough to secure a tent in exposed conditions or supplement regular tent pegs where the ground varies greatly.
