The Hilleberg Kaitum 3 GT is a spacious and versatile 4-season three-person tent , engineered to offer an optimal balance between low weight, high strength and maximum comfort . It is part of Hilleberg's Red Label range , meaning it is designed for all-round use all year round in varying conditions .
The tent is based on a tunnel design with two entrances and two vestibules , which provides great flexibility in both set-up and use. This makes it easy to adapt the tent to wind direction, terrain and storage needs.
What sets the GT model apart from the standard version is the extended vestibule , which creates a large, sheltered space for:
packing storage
cooking in bad weather
change and organization
This extra surface area provides significantly more comfort without significantly affecting the weight.
Kaitum 3 GT is designed to handle both:
hot summer conditions (good ventilation)
winter and harsh weather (stable construction)
The walls of the outer tent go down to the ground, and ventilation openings can be adjusted to minimize condensation and optimize the climate in the tent.
The Kerlon 1200 fabric in the flysheet and DAC Featherlite poles (9 mm) provide a combination of low weight and high durability that is typical of Hilleberg.
