Nikwax Down Wash Direct 1 Liter – Extend the life of your down gear

Nikwax Down Wash Direct is a specially developed technical detergent for down clothing and down sleeping bags . It cleans gently but effectively, while revitalizing the down's insulating ability and water-repellent properties - without damaging the fibers or filling.

Unlike conventional detergents, Down Wash Direct preserves the natural loft of down. The result is lighter, warmer and more functional garments , even after repeated washings. The product works for both hydrophobic down and traditional down and is PFC-free, non-flammable and easy to use in the washing machine .

How to use Nikwax Down Wash Direct (Machine Wash – Down Clothing)

Remove all non-washable parts

Clean the detergent drawer from residues of regular detergent

Place a maximum of 2 items in the washing machine.

Add 100 ml of Down Wash Direct

Wash according to the garment's care instructions, preferably at low temperature and low spin speed.

Drying:
If care label allows – tumble dry on low heat until all down clumps are gone. Pause and pull apart the down several times during drying to restore maximum loft.

🔹 Sleeping bags: Hand wash or professional machine wash recommended.
