Pajak CORE 550 Short – Blue is a lightweight and well-balanced down sleeping bag that is specially developed for winter use , but also works very well as a 3-season or all-year bag for those who want extra warmth. The Short version is adapted for users up to 165 cm , which provides better thermal efficiency without unnecessary excess length.

The sleeping bag is filled with 700 Fill Power RDS‑certified Polish white duck down (90% down / 10% feather) , which provides an excellent combination of low weight and high insulation. According to the EN standard, the CORE 550 offers a comfort temperature of around −3 °C , a limit temperature of around −9 °C and an extreme temperature down to −28 °C , making it ideal for mountain hiking, winter camping and chilly spring and autumn tours.

The TORAY Airtastic SLF15 outer fabric with DWR treatment is very light, windproof and water-repellent. Reinforcements in the hood and footbox protect against moisture and condensation in tents and bivouacs. The body-hugging mummy shape , together with 3D insulated baffles along the zipper , minimizes heat loss. The tangle-free YKK zipper and one-handed hood adjustment make the sleeping bag easy to handle even with gloves.

The CORE 550 Short weighs approximately 885 g , has a fill weight of around 540 g and packs down to approximately 5 liters in the included compression and storage sack . Practical details such as an inner pocket and internal and external hanging loops for drying make it very user-friendly on tour. The sleeping bag is made in Europe (Poland) and produced with a focus on sustainability and responsible down standards.
