Start Eco Universal Glider Minus is a solid universal glide wax for temperatures from 0 to −20 °C. The wide temperature range makes it a practical option for those who want to simplify waxing for cross-country skiing and ski touring in sub-zero temperatures.

The wax comes in a 125 gram package and is used on the gliding zones of skis. It is suitable for regular preparation before exercise rounds, training sessions and winter tours.

Universal gliding wax for cold winter days

With a temperature range from zero degrees to freezing cold, Eco Universal Minus covers many common winter conditions. It's an easy choice when you want to prepare your skis for several days of varying sub-zero temperatures.

A cleaned base and careful brushing after grazing provide good conditions for gliding. On classic cross-country skis and touring skis, the gliding zones in front of and behind the attachment zone or the skin are treated.

Use

Clean the skis' sliding zones and let the base dry.

Melt the wax with a wax iron and distribute it evenly over the sliding surfaces.

Follow the package instructions for iron temperature and cool down. Keep the iron moving.

Sickle off excess wax with a sharp plastic sickle.

Brush the sliding surfaces so that the structure of the coating is revealed.

Keep the attachment zone and climbing skins free from the sliding layer.
