The LEKI Shark Frame Strap is a pair of anatomically designed replacement straps for compatible LEKI poles with the Shark system. The direct connection between the hand and the pole handle provides efficient power transfer when cross-country skiing, roller skiing and Nordic Walking.
The straps wrap around the hand with a stable 360-degree fit and can be quickly attached or detached from the pole handle. They are suitable both as a replacement for worn original straps and as extra straps for compatible LEKI poles.
The Frame Strap Shark is constructed in one continuous piece that wraps around the entire hand. Since the materials do not overlap, the risk of pressure points, chafing and blisters is reduced.
The wide contact surface distributes the load across the hand. A soft and breathable inner material contributes to a comfortable fit during longer training sessions and competitions.
The integrated thumb loop provides support both during pole insertion and when the hand is brought back for the next pole stroke. The strap's direct contact with the handle helps transfer power to the pole without unnecessary movement.
When the strap is correctly adjusted, you don't need to hold the handle as tightly throughout the pole stroke. This can contribute to a more relaxed grip and more efficient pole technique.
The strap's Shark Loop clicks directly into a compatible LEKI Shark handle. The handle's release button allows the strap to be quickly detached when you need to drink, adjust your equipment or handle your phone.
LEKI states that Shark straps and Shark gloves are compatible with poles that use the Shark system.

The LEKI Shark Frame Strap is available in different size ranges, typically XS, S–M–L and M–L–XL. Available sizes may vary between colors and designs.
Measure the circumference of your hand around the widest part of your palm, without including your thumb, and compare with the LEKI size guide. The strap should fit snugly around your hand without restricting blood circulation.
Adjust the width of the strap with the Velcro closure. Close all fasteners before use and check that the strap cannot slip around your hand during the pole grip.

The product is intended for LEKI poles with Shark compatible handles. Please check the pole model handle and system designation before ordering, especially if the poles are of an older model year.
The straps do not fit handles with traditional fixed straps or other connection systems.
