LEKI Fin Vario is a pair of lightweight and interchangeable cross-country ski sleeves for poles with the LEKI Fin Vario system. The sleeves can be changed quickly without tools, making it easy to adapt the poles to firm tracks, softer snow or other conditions.

The aerodynamic shape is developed for efficient pole guidance and a stable pole grip in the snow. The product fits pole tips with 8 or 9 mm cones that are equipped with a Fin Vario sleeve.

The Fin Vario system is available in several sizes of troughs. A smaller trough provides low weight and smooth pole pendulum in firm tracks, while a larger contact surface provides better bearing capacity in softer snow.

S–M: Smaller cross-country ski sled for firm and well-groomed trails

M–L: Larger boot for softer snow and tracks

L–XL: Largest contact area for conditions where extra load-bearing capacity is needed

The system can also be combined with the LEKI Fin Vario Roller Tip for use on asphalt. The roller skate tip is sold separately.

Tool-free replacement

The cups are mounted on a compatible Fin Vario sleeve and can be removed without special tools, so you can switch between different cup sizes or roller skate tips when the terrain changes.

Always check that the trough is fully assembled and properly locked before using the pole.

Check compatibility

LEKI Fin Vario troughs only fit poles with a Fin Vario compatible tip or sleeve. They should not be mounted directly on regular pole tips that do not have the system mount.

The dimensions 8 and 9 mm refer to the cone at the bottom of the pole and not the diameter of the pole tube at the handle. Please check the technical specification of the pole or compare the existing trough with the Fin Vario mount before ordering.

Check before use

Before each session, check that the cups are intact and properly locked in their holders. Do not use a cup that is cracked, badly worn or loose.

Brush off snow, ice and dirt from the mount after use. Allow the parts to dry before storing the poles.
