The HydraPak ArcticFusion™ Tube is an insulated drinking tube , specifically designed for cold, winter conditions and alpine activities where regular tubes are at risk of freezing. With a construction that offers approximately 50% more insulation than comparable solutions, ArcticFusion™ helps keep water flowing when you need it most – on the mountain, ski touring or winter hiking.

Developed for cold environments

ArcticFusion™ Tube is designed to perform in demanding cold conditions . The insulated hose combines with:

insulated valve base

protective nozzle cover (dust cover)

Together, this reduces the risk of water freezing in the hose and valve at low temperatures, while maintaining flow.

High-flow valve and smooth connection

The drinking tube is equipped with HydraPak's Phaser™ bite valve , which provides a steady flow and automatically seals after every sip , reducing drips and spills. At the other end is HydraPak's Plug-N-Play™ connector , which makes it easy to disconnect the tube from the hydration system without leaks - convenient for refilling or transporting.

The hose is flexible and designed for easy routing through backpacks and hydration systems that use HydraPak's Plug-N-Play standard .

Important to know

For best performance in cold weather, HydraPak recommends blowing water back into the reservoir after each sip , as the mouthpiece itself is not fully insulated and can freeze in extreme cold. In very cold temperatures, the hose should be kept as close to the body as possible when not in use.
