The OMM Classic 32 is a larger, lighter and extremely versatile 32-litre backpack , designed for long distances and demanding terrain . It is particularly well suited to larger body types or longer backs than the smaller Classic models, and is in its element on Mountain Marathons , where stability, accessibility and low weight are essential.

The original Classic series was developed back in 1973 to specifications by Sir Chris Brasher , Olympian and later founder of the London Marathon, and became the first backpack to consider weight as a central part of functionality . In this latest iteration, the Classic 32 continues to balance low weight, easy access on the move, high comfort at all speeds and multifunctional components . It is simply the backpack that always works in the mountains .

The Classic 32 is designed to be geometrically stable when running on hilly terrain . The carrying system consists of a closed-cell EVA padded shoulder harness , designed without side seams so that the backpack follows the natural contours of the body and minimizes chafing. The removable hip belt can be used to shift weight to the hips for heavier loads, or removed completely for a faster and lighter race setup .

The removable EVA Duomat on the back acts as both padding and a ¾ sleeping pad , making the Classic 32 particularly suitable for multi-day mountain marathons, solo expeditions and fastpacking . The storage solutions are generous: stretch mesh pockets all around provide quick access to water, food and shell clothing , while the large back pocket is perfect for, for example, wet shoes or weather-resistant equipment . The lid can be adjusted to provide additional stretch volume.

At the front there are zippered hip belt pockets (total of about 2 liters ) and key clips for small items. The Classic 32 is also equipped with UGR – Universal Gear Rail , which makes it possible to mount additional equipment such as Chest Pod, bottle cage, ice axes or poles depending on the season and setup.
