When are Socks Classic 400 best suited?

This is the sock for those who want a warm, robust and all-round winter sock when:

you will be out in the cold for a long time

you stand still a lot (hunting, ice fishing, work)

you want a sock that insulates without being as thick as Socks 800

you want to be able to use the same sock both in outdoor activities and everyday life

Ullfrotté Original 400 – smart layer for cold days

Woolpower's Ullfrotté 400 is built to insulate effectively while managing moisture. For best results in the entire clothing system, we recommend:

Layer upon layer :

closest to the body: Woolpower LITE or Ullfrotté 200

reinforcement/extra warmth: Ullfrotté 400 when it's cold or when you move less

By wearing Woolpower closest to your skin, you get maximum benefit from the natural properties of merino wool.
