The Lifesystems Solo Traveller First Aid Kit Red is a comprehensive first aid kit designed for solo travellers on longer trips to remote areas. The kit combines equipment for minor and major injuries with sterile syringes, needles, scalpel, suture and venous catheters that can be handed over to qualified healthcare professionals.

The contents are organized in a clear red storage bag and include wound dressings, bandages, tape, compresses, gloves, scissors and tweezers. According to Lifesystems, all medical components are manufactured according to European quality requirements and CE marked.

For longer solo trips

The Solo Traveller First Aid Kit is designed for travelers who are far from well-equipped medical facilities. It is suitable for backpacking, expeditions, volunteering, work trips and longer adventure trips where access to sterile medical equipment may be limited.

The kit contains basic wound care and stabilization materials as well as a separate selection of sterile medical instruments. The red bag makes the equipment easy to identify in the pack.

Sterile equipment for healthcare professionals

Syringes, injection needles, venous catheters, scalpels and sutures should only be used by persons with appropriate medical training and authorization. The equipment is intended to be handed over to qualified healthcare professionals when sterile equipment is not available locally.
