Rottefella Flex Skate Medium is the classic standard flex for skate bindings and provides a good balance between control and freedom of movement. The flex acts as a flexible cushion that creates bending resistance under the foot, helping you stabilize your ride, improve control of the ski and create a more natural kick-and-return cycle .

Many Rottefella bindings come with a replaceable medium flex from the start, and this is the flex you choose when you want to maintain the standard feel – for example when replacing a flex that has become worn or hard.

Since rubber is affected by time and temperature, Rottefella recommends that you change the flex regularly , as the material can harden over time and change its properties. A new flex often provides better response and a more consistent feel in the ride.
