Highly breathable, lightweight and now even more durable in a new nylon outer layer material. Kamleika is the choice for people who have realized that they may need to wear waterproof all day and still keep moving.
Kamleika was and still is the original stretch waterproof. Running in the mountains, in the rain, puts the equipment through as much testing as it does the person. This is especially true when designing a waterproof jacket where a mix of properties must be achieved. the OMM requires durability, comfort, stretch, weather protection properties, light weight, waterproofness and breathability, all of which must be balanced in the perfect combination. Kamleika is OMM's answer to this challenge. Updated for winter 2020 with a nylon outer layer and is now more durable than ever.
The story:
OMM invented the waterproof stretch just over 20 years ago, and Kamleika was the first waterproof stretch.
The OMM has improved the technology over the years to reduce weight, improve breathability and add features but the formula has remained the same. Now in its fifth generation, the latest Kamleika builds on decades of design and thorough testing in the toughest competitions.

The OMM Kamleika Jacket Womens is a women's-specific shell jacket with a regular, functional fit and four-way stretch. The jacket is designed for running and fast movement in demanding weather and allows space for a base layer or a thinner midlayer.
The measurements in the table are body measurements, not the jacket measurements.
| Size | Bust circumference | Joint circumference | Approximate EU size |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 76–81 cm | 81–86cm | 30–32 |
| S | 81–86cm | 86–91 cm | 34–36 |
| M | 86–89 cm | 91–97cm | 38–40 |
| L | 91–97cm | 97–102 cm | 42–44 |
| XL | 99–104cm | 102–107 cm | 46–48 |
EU sizes are approximate. Use bust and hip circumference as a guide.
The current model has a Regular Fit , which means a normal and movement-friendly fit. It is not as close to the body as some older generations of the Kamleika Jacket.
The stretchy material follows the body's movements without feeling stiff, but the jacket should still provide enough room for the clothes underneath. The four-way stretch is primarily intended to improve freedom of movement and is not a reason to choose a size that is too small.
Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Hold the tape measure horizontally across your back and do not pull it too tight.
Stand with your feet close together and measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Make sure the measuring tape is flat.
It is advisable to take the measurement over a thin base layer, especially if this is how the jacket will mainly be used.
The correct size should:
Try the jacket on with the layers you normally wear. A shell jacket that is too tight can restrict movement and provide poor ventilation, while a jacket that is too big can create unnecessary flutter in the wind.
