Nikwax Tech Wash® 5 Litre is a market leading technical detergent developed to clean and revive waterproof, windproof and breathable clothing and equipment . The large 5 litre pack is ideal for frequent use , laundries, shops, clubs, rentals, expeditions and active households.

Unlike regular detergents, Tech Wash cleans without leaving residue that impairs the garment's function. The product restores water repellency (DWR) , improves breathability and extends the life of technical fabrics. It is also gentle , biodegradable and free of harmful solvents.

Tech Wash is always the first step before impregnation with, for example, Nikwax TX.Direct®.

How to use Nikwax Tech Wash

Can be used in the washing machine or by hand .

Treat stubborn stains with Tech Wash and sponge/soft brush

Remove all non-washable parts

Clean the detergent drawer from residues of regular detergent

Shake the bottle well.

Machine wash

Put a maximum of 1–2 items of clothing in the machine.

Used:

• 100 ml for soft water

• 150 ml for medium/hard water

• 200 ml for extremely hard water

Wash according to the garment's care label

💡 If your kettle gets limescale, you have hard water.

Important to know

Do not use regular detergent or fabric softener.

Tech Wash is necessary before impregnation with TX.Direct®
