Nikwax Rug Wash™ 5 litres is a specially developed technical detergent for cleaning horse rugs, blankets and rugs. The product is designed to effectively clean without damaging the rug's function, while also revitalising its water repellency, insulation and breathability .

Unlike conventional detergents, Rug Wash leaves no residue that can degrade the rug's performance. The water-based, PFC-free formula is safe for both machine and hand washing, and is ideal for stables, riding schools and professional rug care.

User manual – Washing machine

Treat stubborn stains with Rug Wash™ and sponge or soft brush

Remove all loose and non-washable parts.

Clean the detergent drawer from residues of regular detergent

Add 1 blanket or rug per wash

Use 150 ml Rug Wash per item

Wash according to the duvet's care label using a program that provides thorough rinsing.
