Ski: Åsnes Combat Nato BC

Binding: Rottefella NNN BC Magnum

We of course assemble the binding. Just let us know the size of the boot.

Combat NATO is a very light and robust ski with steel edges and a 22 mm side out.

The ski is developed for the army and military use and is designed for both steep and demanding terrain and to travel at speed in different conditions - something that is achieved through a combination of a moderate wax pocket, a side wall of 22 mm and a balanced width, which gives control and excellent floating properties on deeper snow

A skiing for the hike and the rapid descent.

The binding area is reinforced with the Titanal alloy while the sole is milled for low friction at the attachment point for NATO X-Skin - a 45 mm climbing skin specially adapted for these skis.

There is also an opening on the back of the ski to attach a short skin in extreme temperatures.

Combat is designed to meet all the challenges the mountain has to offer.

Select length

Choose the right length

Ski length is determined based on body weight and height. The table below is just a guide, but experience, skill, terrain and individual needs can all influence your choice of height.

In general, shorter skis than the open mountain plateau require moving through tough terrain. And for beginners, short skis are easier to control. If you mainly ride along tracks, length is not the most important factor. To float well on deep snow, a lighter wider ski is useful. Lighter skiers may consider a shorter ski; heavier skiers a longer skiing. Skiers with loads such as backpacks and sleds can consider longer skiing.
