Ortovox Set Pro Alu III + Pocket Spike

In the latest iteration of an ORTOVOX classic, we have used the most innovative materials and the latest production methods to achieve the best possible weight-to-rigidity. Stabilization ribs and high side walls provide the anodised blade stiffness, while the integrated shaft socket makes it easy to pack. With the new quick lock, the blade and the knurled telescopic shaft can be put together in one movement. The new T-Grip Pro is revolutionary. It can be used for both right- and left-handed traders - and also facilitates financial clearing. One hand grips the long grip side, which acts as an ergonomic lever, while the other hand has maximum grip on the rubber-coated grip zone of the shoulder.

Our new POCKET SPIKE is simply ingenious! Although it is usually tucked away in your backpack or trouser pocket (hence the name), POCKET SPIKE can be quickly retrieved in risky situations, such as when you only have a few meters to the top or if you have to cross a steep hill. In two steps, you can attach it to the PRO ALU III shovel handle for extra protection. POCKET SPIKE has two parts: The sharp forged shaft head made of AL 7075 T6 and the shaft tip, which replaces the spade blade. The two parts are attached together to form a single piece without sharp edges and weighs only 95 grams. Suitable for tours where a little extra support is needed during the last meters.
