Energy package for ski runs between 4-9 miles
For those of you who are thinking of going to the Vasaloppet, Halvvasan or one of the seeding races, we have the perfect package. With a structured energy plan, you'll reach the finish line in new record time, or just have a more enjoyable journey on the road.
The package contains:
- 1 U Intend shot with caffeine
- 1 Can of U Sport Elder/Orange/Lemon 500g (Write the desired flavor in the message field at checkout)
- 4 U Gel (30g Carbs) (mango, wild berry, blackcurrant, peach)
- 2 U Bar blueberry energy bars (30g carbs)
Intake recommendation for Vasan
- Drink 1 Intendshot 30 minutes before the start and eat a U Bar.
- Mix sports drink in a 1-2 liter bladder or 2 water bottles of 750ml each (200g/bottle) and drink continuously during the race. Customize according to your choice of fluid system.
- U Gel and U Bar you take about 1 every hour or two depending on how long you are out.
The package is complete and the only thing you need in terms of energy for up to 8 hours of riding. If you stay for longer than that, we also recommend that you use the stations. You can of course do that even if you go in 8 hours or faster, but if you are that fast, you know that you don't have to stop if you don't want to.
