This is GEL. Energy encapsulated in a natural hydrogel. Built with six ingredients - no added colors, preservatives or flavors. 25 g of carbohydrates per serving. Can be used before, during and/or after activity.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

This is GEL. That's a bold statement. But still true. From a technical perspective, traditional gels are water and carbohydrates simply mixed into syrup, often with added flavors and preservatives. GEL 100 is completely different. It is a biopolymer matrix filled with a unique mixture of fructose and glucose (ratio 0.8:1) that enables the absorption of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.

GEL 100 is built by utilizing natural hydrogel technology and built with six natural ingredients. It contains no coloring agents or preservatives and is available in 40g portions. Each portion contains 60% carbohydrates - a high weight-to-energy ratio.

INSTRUCTIONS

Consume the gel minutes before, during and/or immediately after activity.

The amount of energy

It is well known that our bodies can use about 60 grams of ingested carbohydrates per hour, in the form of glucose or maltodextrin (glucose polymer). With a 0.5: 1 combination of fructose and glucose / maltodextrin, absorption can be up to 90 grams per hour. More recent studies have shown that increased fructose content, above 0.5:1 enables an even higher absorption. GEL 100 is based on a ratio between fructose and glucose 0.8: 1. One serving contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

GEL 100 is built on hydrogel technology *. The hydrogel enables the smooth transport of carbohydrates through the stomach to the intestine where the water, salt and carbohydrates are absorbed.
