The Montane Trailblazer® 44L Backpack is designed for multi-day adventures, overnight stays and demanding mountain tours where light weight and stable carrying comfort are essential. With its expanded capacity of 44 liters, it combines the Trailblazer series' fast & light philosophy with sufficient volume for a tent, sleeping system and extra layers.

The backpack is constructed from recycled materials throughout , with a RAPTOR CROSS LITE 70D main fabric and a reinforced RAPTOR CROSS 210D Triple Ripstop bottom , providing high durability where it's needed most. A PFC-free DWR treatment protects your gear from rain and moisture, while keeping your environmental impact low.

To carry heavier loads in a stable manner, the Trailblazer 44 is equipped with a pre-bent, lightweight aluminum frame , which effectively stabilizes the load even on longer day stages. The advanced COVALENT™ harness works with both vertical and horizontal compression to pull the backpack close to the body. Together with a 3D-shaped foam back section and an adjustable ZephyrAD back system, this provides a secure, body-hugging and well-ventilated fit.

Storage and access are designed for fast-paced movement. You get large mesh pockets on the front and sides , easy-access hip and shoulder pockets for food and fluids, and side zippers to the main compartment that allow you to access items without opening the top. The modular Montane T-Hook system lets you customize the exterior for poles, extra compression, or gear attachments. The backpack is also compatible with hydration bladders , making it ideal for long days on the move.
