The Nordisk Lofoten 2 ULW is an extremely light and compact two-person tent for fastpacking, ultra-running, bikepacking and hiking where every gram counts. The Nordisk Lofoten 2 ULW is an advanced ultralight two-person tent, developed for adventures where low weight and small pack volume are crucial. It is particularly well suited for multisport, fastpacking, adventure racing, bikepacking and longer hikes where the tent needs to be carried quickly and far.
The official weight of the tent is only 590 grams , while the trim weight is 520 grams . With all accessories and spare parts, the complete delivery weighs approximately 750 grams. This makes the Lofoten 2 ULW an attractive choice for users who want to reduce pack weight without switching to a completely open tarp or bivouac system.
The very compact pack size of 11 × 22 cm is made possible by specially developed aluminum poles with extra short segments. The tent can therefore be packed in a small backpack, bike bag or even in larger bottle pockets on some running vests.
The flysheet is made of Nortech T-NY 7D ripstop nylon with a silicone coating. The thin material weighs only 26 g/m² and combines very low weight with water-repellent properties and a reinforced ripstop structure.
The inner tent is made of 15D ripstop nylon and the floor is made of 15D ripstop nylon with PU coating. The floor has a water column of 3,600 mm , while the outer tent has a water column of 1,600 mm .
The Lofoten 2 ULW has a low and aerodynamic tunnel construction. The centered pole at the foot end helps to utilize the interior space efficiently, while arches and two mesh ventilation sections create airflow through the tent.
The patented Nordisk Flex-Line Suspension System connects the inner and outer tents and helps the structure handle movement and load. Three additional attachment points for tent lines make it possible to reinforce the tent when weather conditions require it.
The tent has a modular system where the same outer tent can be used with both the Lofoten 1 and Lofoten 2 inner tents. By purchasing a separate single-person inner tent, you can convert the tent into a lighter solo model while creating more space under the outer tent for equipment.

Lofoten 1 ULW and Lofoten 2 ULW use the same outer tent. The difference is mainly in the width of the inner tent.
By purchasing a separate Lofoten 1 Inner Tent, you can convert the two-person tent into a lighter one-person solution. The narrower inner tent also provides more covered space outside the sleeping area for storage and easier cooking.

The Nordisk Lofoten 2 ULW is designed for quick set-up. The outer tent is pitched first, which helps protect the inner tent when pitching in the rain.
Insert the aluminum poles into the tent's pole system and then anchor the ends of the tent with the ground pegs. Tension the tent evenly to create the correct shape, ventilation and stability.
Use all available tent lines and extra anchor points when using the tent in windy or exposed locations. Check the ground pegs regularly as the low weight of the tent makes proper anchoring extra important.
The Lofoten 2 ULW is designed with a focus on light weight and fast movement. The interior is 220 cm long and 120 cm wide, which provides sleeping space for two people but limited space for larger amounts of equipment.
