A lightweight sleep system with fantastic comfort and breathability. With the 250 g/m2 weight PrimaLoft® ACTIVE lining fabric, the Mountain Core 250 offers an open fleece feel but with the added benefit of an unmatched warmth to weight ratio for any fabric.

Using the thickest PrimaLoft® ACTIVE fabric at 250 g/m2 makes for a warmer bag than the lighter Mountain Core 125 but with all the benefits of a comfortable sleeping environment.

Externally, the PointZero fabric provides good windproofing with a DWR (Durable Water Repellancy) for when your pack takes a pounding on the way to camp. The overall package retains the packability you would expect from OMM.

PrimaLoft® ACTIVE blurs the line between wadding insulation and fabric; PrimaLoft® ACTIVE loosely weaves PrimaLoft®'s industry-leading insulation fibers through a fine polyester mesh. The resulting structure is warmer and less than half the weight of a conventional fleece product – down-like performance when dry while still performing when wet.

Although not the warmest sleeping bag that OMM has to offer, it achieves a much more comfortable indoor climate by using PrimaLoft® ACTIVE instead of a traditional wadding insulation. With improved absorbency and breathability, the open weave fleece fabric allows for much better air flow while the raised plume still provides great insulation values.

The PointZero outer fabric is windproof with good water resistance thanks to the DWR coating, while PrimaLoft® maintains its insulating properties even when wet, perfect for changing conditions.
