The VJ Ultra 3 is a technical trail shoe designed for long distances, ultra running and demanding terrain. It is built for runners who want plenty of cushioning, reliable grip and protection for many hours on trails, mountains, forests, gravel, roots and rocks.

The midsole is made of VJ SuperFOAMance , a modern and lightweight foam material that provides soft cushioning, responsiveness and comfort even during longer sessions. With a stack height of 38 mm in the heel and 30 mm in the forefoot, you get a protective platform that reduces the load from hard and uneven surfaces.

Between the midsole and outsole is a full-length rock plate that protects the foot from sharp rocks, roots and technical sections. This makes the shoe especially suitable for trail running in tougher terrain where the surface varies quickly and the feet need protection for a long time.

The outsole is equipped with VJ's well-known Superior Contact rubber , a butyl rubber compound with very good grip on both wet and dry surfaces.
