The VJ Fuzion Tempo is a technical road-to-trail shoe designed for runners who want to be able to run fast over a variety of surfaces. It's perfect for when your run starts on asphalt, continues over gravel, and ends on a trail—without the need to change shoes.
The Tempo is the faster and more responsive model in the VJ Fuzion series. It's built for hard training sessions, all-surface racing and mixed terrain where efficiency, speed and grip need to work together. The shoe provides a direct and responsive feel on asphalt, while still having enough protection and stability for easier trail sections.
The midsole is made of SuperFOAMance+ , VJ's advanced nitrogen-infused supercritical foam. The material provides high energy return, bounce and response, making the shoe particularly suitable for faster distances, intervals, tempo runs and competitions on varied terrain.
The midsole features a full-length, branched rock plate that provides protection against uneven surfaces, increased torsional rigidity, and more efficient push-off. This makes the shoe feel stable when you leave the asphalt and run on gravel, rocks, roots, or hard-packed trails.
The outsole is made of lightweight rubber and has 3mm studs . This provides good grip on off-road surfaces without the shoe feeling clumsy on asphalt. The result is a versatile running shoe that works great when you want to keep up the pace on both the road and trail.
