Here is our energy package for the Gothenburg lap or other half-marathon.
The energy plan is based on you also consuming sports drinks from the race's water stations that serve sports drinks. In addition to the sports drink served, you use gel in this package as below.

The recommended intake is for you who run in approx. 1h 45min -2h. For other times, we advise you to add a gel of your choice for every extra 30 minutes you are out running.
If you take the sports drink at all stations, you get 20-40g of carbohydrates (based on whether you get everything in the cup or not), then these 4 gels give another 80g = 100-120g of carbohydrates, which is enough for about 1.5 hours of running. Should you miss a station or two, you'll still be fine too.
